CONTEXT
The III Brazilian Conference on Software: Theory and Practice (CBSoft 2012) will be organized on September 23-29, 2012 in Natal-RN. CBSoft 2012 aggregates in a single week four major Brazilian software events:
- XXVI Brazilian Symposium on Software Engineering (SBES)
- XVI Brazilian Symposium on Programming Languages (SBLP)
- XV Brazilian Symposium on Formal Methods (SBMF)
- VI Brazilian Symposium on Software Components, Architectures and Reuse (SBCARS)
- Workshop theme relevance and interest;
- Coordinator experience (Lattes CV);
- Program Committee;
- Previous editions evaluation, if a recurrent proposal.
- Name of the workshop;
- Duration (3 or 6 hours), on Sunday, September 23, 2012;
- Description of the main topic of the workshop, explaining its relevance; history of the workshop, including number of participants, number of submissions and acceptance rate;
- Workshop format, topics of interest, papers acceptance criteria, and presentation form;
- Invited speakers (CBSoft organization is willing to accommodate workshops invited speakers talks during the week with the major events, based on the CBSoft schedule availability);
- Expected audience, including maximum number of participants;
- Program Committee;
- Support and required equipment from the local CBSoft organization;
- Name, contact information and link to the Lattes Curriculum of the workshop coordinator. If the coordinator is not Brazilian, it is possible to send a CV in a PDF file.

In addition, CBSoft has several workshops related to these events topics. The goal is to provide a forum to allow academics and practitioners exchanging and discussing their experiences and ideas.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Workshop proposals will be evaluated considering:
Each workshop can be schedule for half-day (3 hours) or full day (6 hours). This year the CBSoft organizing committee defined that all workshops will be on Sunday (Set 23, 2012) to avoid schedules conflicts with major CBSoft events (SBES, SBLP, SBMF e SBCARS).
Workshop proceedings will be available at the CBSoft CD and must be prepared by the workshop organizers. Please, note the deadline for delivering the workshop papers to the CBSoft organizing committee.
SUBIMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
Workshop proposals, a PDF file, should be sent by email to the workshops coordinator: scbs [at] cin.ufpe.br.
The proposal must contain the following information:

Submission deadline (extended): March 05, 2012 (firm).
Acceptance notification: March 14, 2012.
Camera-ready to CBSoft CD: July 31, 2012.
